Juvenile Courts

The Florida Parishes Juvenile Detention Center has territorial jurisdiction throughout the 21st and 22nd Judicial Districts; which include the parishes of Livingston, St. Helena, St. Tammany, Tangipahoa and Washington. Per orders that originate from any of the various courts within these parishes, the FPJDC houses youth who have been accused of misdemeanor and/or felony offenses; and are subsequently awaiting court hearings and/or adjudication and/or placement.

Due to statutes protecting the confidentiality of juveniles, employees of the FPJDC are not authorized to confirm or deny that a youth is currently or has previously been housed in this facility.
