Paid Vacation and Sick Leave:

12+ days of each; accrues biweekly – up to 480 hours annually.  Vacation Leave increases with tenure.

Available after 6-month probationary period.   

 

Retirement:  Louisiana State Employee Retirement System (LASERS):

Mandatory participation – Employee contributes 8% of wages; Employer contributes 40.1% of base earnings

 

Retirement:  Louisiana Public Employee Deferred Compensation:

Voluntary 457b retirement plan; employer matches up to 3% of employee contributions
