Visitation Information

General Information

Visitation is held weekly on Wednesday and Sunday. Parents, guardians, grandparents and siblings over the age of 18 are allowed to visit the youth. A picture identification is required for entry. Special visitations are only permissible when approved in advance by the Director of Operations.

Consent to Search and Contraband:

By entering the premises, all visitors are consenting to a general search. This is done to protect our staff and the youth in our care. Visitors in possession of restricted items will not be allowed access until the items are secured in their personal vehicles. Car keys and IDs may be left with the visitation check in desk or in personal vehicles.

Restricted items include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Electronic Devices: Cell phones, iPods, headsets, Bluetooth items, etc.
  • Sharp Objects: Pocket knives, manicure scissors, ink pens, etc
  • Lighters, matches, cigarettes and other tobacco products

Visitation Schedule

The amount of time each youth is allowed visitation is determined by their position within our level system. Level one youth are allowed one hour of visitation per visit. Youth achieving level two earn an additional one-half hour. Level three youth receive two hours of visitation per visit.

Wednesday:

  • 7:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. Level One Youth
  • 7:00 p.m. – 8:30 p.m. Level Two
  • 7:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. Level Three Youth

Sunday:

  • 1:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m. Level One Youth
  • 1:00 p.m. – 2:30 p.m. Level Two Youth
  • 1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. Level Three Youth

Dress Code

Due to the nature of our facility and the age of our clients we have implemented a visitation dress code. Visitors found not in compliance with the established dress code will be denied access to visitation.

Restricted items include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Sunglasses
  • Baseball caps
  • Tank tops
  • Short shorts or skirts
  • Low cut shirts
  • Vulgar or obscene graphics
  • Gang markings
